The archival holdings come from public institutions located in the territory of the province of Mantua.
Archival and Other Holdings
Holocaust-related archival holdings are primary the two fonds "Prefettura" and "Questura", where personal files of the Jewish population living in the territory of the province can be found.

Closed on the day of the patron saint of Mantua, 18th March, and on the main Catholic and civil holidays (1st January, 6th January, Easter and the day after, 25th April, 1st May, 2nd June, 15th August, 1st November, 8th December, Christmas and the day after)
After the entry into force of the law of the Italian Goverment n° 124 (17th August, 2017), every scholar is allowed to take photos of the documents kept into every State Archive of Italy, with personal equipment and without paying, for non-profit purposes, although some documents might be excluded, due to privacy policies. Scholars are required to fill out a specific form every time they take photos of the documents.
