Roger Gradwohl, born in Pfaffenhoffen, France, 1923, known as Frachet; details regarding his activities in the French Jewish underground during World War II Underground activities in La Sixieme (the Sixth) of the EIF (French Jewish Scouts); arrested by the French militia in Saint Flour before joining the Maquis with his brother; executed by shooting in Saint Flour, along with his brother, 14 June 1944; awarded the Medaille de la Resistance and the Croix de Guerre.
