Maurice Loebenberg, born in Zurich, Switzerland, 1916, known as Cachoud; details regarding his activities in the Jewish underground in France during World War II Commander of the underground AJ (Jewish Army); responsible for forging documents for the MLN (National Liberation Movement); taken captive by the Gestapo at Auteuil, 17 July 1944; 26 hours of torture and death.
