Memoirs of Balázs Zsoldos, a non-Jewish lad from Orom, Yugoslavia, regarding the experiences of the Jewish forced laborers in the Hungarian Army labor battalions, 1941-1945 Annexation of the Délvidék county to Hungary, April 1941; the life of a group of Jewish forced laborers in a Hungarian Army labor battalion, including digging fortifications in the Zenta and Szabadka regions; deportation of the Jews to the Szeged Ghetto, 1944. Note: Balázs Zsoldos was a young man of 18 when he wrote his memoirs in 1955.
