Four poems written by Rabbi Menahem Romano, born in Sarajevo, Yugoslavia, 1882, about the history of the Jewish people and about Hitler The poems express feelings of happiness about the defeat of Hitler and thanksgiving to God for the redemption; thoughts about the end of the war and the rescue of the Jewish people; the author blames Hitler for the many acts of murder and prophesizes a bitter end for Hitler; narrative about the hardships endured from Pesach 5701 (April 1941) until Kaf-Chet Iyar 5705 (11 May 1945).
