Testimony of Alexander Fried Kopecky, born in Kosice, Czechoslovakia, 1905, regarding his experiences in Hungarian labor camps, a Soviet labor camp, as a Czechoslovakian Army soldier in Novokhopersk, in combat in Dukla and as a war correspondent 1944-1945 Hungarian occupation of Slovakia; deportation of Jews from occupied Slovakia to Hungarian labor camps, 1940-1942; mine sweeping on the Russian front, 1943; life in a Soviet POW camp in Morshansk, 1943; enlistment in the Czechoslovakian brigade in Novochopersk, 1943; participation in the Dukla campaign, 1944; war correspondent for the Czechoslovakian Army press, 1944-1945.
