Reports and articles by the Ghetto Archives staff: "To Die in the Ghetto II", Chapter name: "Death Inside the Ghetto" by Oskar Singer, 28 July 1942 The hanging of two men in the ghetto's market square as punishment for escaping from a labor camp near Pozen, 22 July 1942; the Jews in the ghetto were forced to witness the hanging; the Commander of the Jewish Order Police, Leon Rozenblat, was forced to deliver a speech at the execution.
