Announcements to the population issued by Rumkowski in the Lodz Ghetto: Announcement Number 369 dated 04 March 1942 ordering a cleanup campaign in the houses and courtyards to be arranged by the house guards and house administrators The melting snow has caused a great deal of dirt, and the house guards and house administrators are ordered to organize a cleanup campaign the houses and courtyards; they may recruit anyone in their building who is not employed.
