Announcements to the population issued by Rumkowski in the Lodz Ghetto: Announcement Number 293, dated 18 July 1941 regarding temporary suspension of the purchasing of sewing machines Because of the large number of sewing machines being offered for sale, and the shortage of storage space, purchase of sewing machines is temporarily suspended; purchase will resume, 20 July 1941, and continue for eight days.
