Announcements to the population issued by Rumkowski in the Lodz Ghetto: Announcement Number 224, dated 01 March 1941 ordering the ghetto residents to give food parcels to their relatives and not send the parcels by train Order that the ghetto residents give food parcels to their relatives immediately and not send the parcels by train; by order of the authorities, parcels arriving by train will by confiscated (See Announcement 221).
