Announcements to the population issued by Rumkowski in the Lodz Ghetto: Invitation to submit proposals for the preparation of stamps and letters of commendation for internal ghetto use Texts appearing on the stamps should be written in Yiddish only; invitation to submit proposals for three types of letters of commendations for workers. Cash prizes will be awarded to those whose proposals are accepted; proposals in sealed envelopes should reach Balty Square by 31 January 1941.
