Announcements to the population issued by Rumkowski in the Lodz Ghetto: Announcement Number 140, dated 11 October 1940, regarding removal of Polish small change from circulation As published in the Litzmannstaedter Zeitung, 1 October 1940, Polish coins worth less than a zloty are being taken out of circulation as of 25 October1940; coins may be exchanged in the two ghetto banks until 25 October 1940.
