The Madrid leftist press agitates sharply against Germany, the Madrid rightist press upkeeps their very friendly opinion towards Germany.     The collection contains diverse documents from 1939 to 1963, concerning the situation for Jews in Europe in general, Spanish Jews, and individual cases of Jews seeking asylum in Spain. The bulk of the collection consists of correspondence related to securing transit visas to Spain for Jews attempting to escape Nazi persecution.
