There are several ways to be more specific in your search query:

Search an exact match of your query, e.g. "Member lists"
+Phrase
Given word has to be in the result, e.g. +Gestapo
-Phrase
Exclude given word from search, e.g. -Gestapo

Use the following syntax to restrict the search to specific fields:

field:"phrase"
For instance, you can find all descriptions that have the phrase "Auschwitz Birkenau" in their titles by searching for title:"Auschwitz Birkenau".

    Collection of original letters with English translations from Oskar Neumann in Tombelone (?) sent to family in Great Britain. Mention is made of relatives in France and England.

    The collection consists of a wallet and documents relating to the experiences of Erna Landau before the war when she emigrated from Rhede, Germany, to Great Britain in 1938 and of photographs relating to the experiences of Herman Meyer and his extended family in the Netherlands and then in Kenya where they lived as refugees during World War II.

    1938/1939

    After the signment of the Munich agreement in 1938 the British government decided to provide financial support (officially it was a loan for the Czechoslovak government) to refugees and emmigrants from former Czechoslovakia to other states. A person charged with care about matters of refugees was a british clerk Robert J. Stopford. British government gave about 4 millions pounds. Untill March 1939 this financial aid was given about 12.000 emigrants who than moved to Palestine, United States and Great Britain.
