The Carrol Walsh letter was written by World War II veteran and liberator Carrol Walsh to Holocaust survivor Stephen Barry on April 10, 2008. Walsh, who liberated Barry from a train on the outskirts of Magdeburg, Germany, on April 13, 1945, writes about their friendship. Walsh also describes how unworthy he feels when survivors express their gratitude to him. He believes that the liberating soldiers were doing what they were morally obligated to do.

The collection consists of a letter written by Cecilie Klein to her mother regarding her thoughts about the deaths of family members during the Holocaust and sixteen photographs mostly of the donor's family taken before, during, or directly after the Holocaust. All of the photographs were taken in Czechoslovakia or Auschwitz except an image of a memorial which was given to Cecilie Klein-Pollack by a woman from Russia.

Consists of a copy of a letter to Congressman John F. Kennedy on 3 October 1949, from Ceslovas Daukantas regarding his brother Adolph, a displaced person living in a sanatorium during his recovery from tuberculosis. Mr. Daukantas sought Kennedy's help to have him transferred to a hospital in the American Zone. Also includes a copy of Kennedy's 14 October 1949, response in which he states that he has forwarded the information to the International Refugee Committee (IRC).
