Gemeentearchief Zeist is a historical documentation centre in the broad sense of the word. You can come to see and do research on the history of the municipality of Zeist or parts of it. For example, about a neighbourhood or about certain periods, such as the Second World War. And also for genealogical research. The Municipal Archive of Zeist holds the archives of the municipality of Zeist from before 1991, but also private archives such as those of churches, associations, companies and individuals. You can also use the library with its extensive collection of books about the history of Zeist and the newspaper collection. Furthermore, there are many photos and other documentation about Zeist.
Opening Times
The municipality archive works exclusively by appointment. To make an appointment, call at least 1 day in advance. Open from Tuesday to Thursday, time blocks You can reserve a time slot.
