The RHCe supervises the formation and management of archives and information management at municipalities in the Metropolitan Region of Eindhoven (Asten, Bergeijk, Best, Bladel, Cranendonck, Deurne, Eersel, Eindhoven, Geldrop-Mierlo, Heeze-Leende, Helmond, Laarbeek, Nuenen c.a., Oirschot, Reusel-de Mierden, Son en Breugel, Someren, Valkenswaard, Veldhoven and Waalre). Other public bodies also fall under the supervision of the RHCe. After twenty years, these authorities are legally obliged to transfer their archives to the archive storage facility. The RHCe ensures that the material is accessible to everyone, now and in the future.

Visiting by appointment on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9.30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Closed on the following public holidays: New Year's Day, Easter Monday, King's Day, Liberation Day, Ascension Day and subsequent Friday, Whit Monday, Christmas
