The Archives were founded by decree on the 28th of February 1941.

Geographical and Cultural Context

Twentieth-century archival holdings come from public institutions located in the territory of the province of Udine.

Archival and Other Holdings

Holocaust-related archival holdings are primary the two fonds "Prefettura" and "Questura", where personal files of the Jewish population living in the territory of the province can be found.

Institute's opening times: Monday-Wednesday-Friday, 8.00-15.00; Tuesday-Thursday, 8.00-18.00.
