    Hungarian gendarme officer and politician. In 1941 he was one of the founders of the Hungarian National Socialist Party. During the Sztójay Cabinet in 1944 he was political state secretary of the Ministry of the Interior, and as such he was in charge of the police and the gendarmerie. He was directly responsible for the deportation of the Hungarian Jews. He was charged with war crimes and executed in 1946.

    Ukrainian leader, joined the Orhanizatsyia Ukrainshkykh Natsionalistiv (Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists, OUN) and soon became one of the leaders of the national organisation in Western Ukraine. Bandera helped the Nazis to set up two Ukrainian battalions, the Nachtigall battalion and the Roland Battalion, with the purpose of carrying out intelligence activities. In autumn 1944 he became one of the leaders of the extreme right National Alliance of Legislators (Törvényhozók Nemzeti Szövetsége). In 1946 he was found guilty of war crimes and executed.
