History

Born in Poland, historian, translator and poet.

During the war, she was in the Warsaw ghetto and worked with Emanuel Ringelblum in the underground archive "Oneg Shabbat" reporting on living conditions in the ghetto. After she managed to get to the Aryan side, she published a poem "Yizkor" about Jewish youth who was murdered.

After the war, she worked with the Jewish Historical Committee in Poland to document the Holocaust. Her works have been published in many books and peer-reviewed articles. In 1950 she immigrated to Israel and continued her research work on the Warsaw Ghetto at Yad Vashem. "
