Soviet Information Bureau was established on June 24, 1941 by a directive of Sovnarkom and the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union.
Functions
It led the work of war correspondents, information support of Soviet embassies and consulates and news agencies abroad, magazines, newspapers etc.
