    The Rohony family papers are comprised of postcards and photographs documenting the Rohony family’s circumstances during World War II, primarily between 1943 and 1944. Comprised of János, his wife Anna, and their daughter, Zsusana (later Susan), the Rohony family was living in Budapest, Hungary until 1943 when János was forced into the Hungarian labor battalions and Anna was arrested by the Gestapo.     The Tadek Korn papers include photographs, clippings, and a biographical statement by violinist Perec Brand that were formerly housed in an album and scrapbook.   6. Theresienstadt ghetto-labor camp scrip, 100 kronen note

    Scrip, valued at 100 kronen, issued in the Theresienstadt (Terezin) ghetto-labor camp in 1943. All currency was confiscated from deportees upon entry and replaced with scrip and ration coupons that could be exchanged only in the camp. The Theresienstadt camp existed for 3.5 years, from November 24, 1941 to May 9, 1945. It was located in a region of Czechoslovakia occupied by Germany, renamed the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia, and made part of the Greater German Reich.

    Scale model, 1:10 ratio, of Block 5, men's barracks, at Theresienstadt ghetto-labor camp made by Jiri Lauscher after the war. It was based upon his experiences as an inmate of the camp in German occupied Czechoslovakia from December 1942 - May 1945. Even while in the camp, Jiri was concerned with preserving memories of the prisoner's experiences. He remained dedicated to this memorial work for the rest of his life.     Gold ring missing the setting taken by 18 year old Yidl (Eddie) Wajnsztajn from Treblinka death camp where he was forced to sort the belongings of incoming inmates. Yidl, his mother Leah, and 20 year old brother Israel were deported by the Germans to Treblinka from Losice, Poland, on August 22, 1942. The next day, while waiting in line for water, he was shot in the chest by an SS guard. Israel hid him and dressed the wound, then went to get water and never came back.
