  1. Dachau photographic negatives

    Consists of photographic negatives of Dachau liberation photos, which were widely published and distributed to American soldiers in the spring of 1945. These images are from the collection of the Racimora family, who were imprisoned during the war and spent time in displaced persons camps after the war.

  14. Lavoslav Schick (Šik) collection

    Personal papers of Lavoslav Schick (Šik). The collection consists of several hundred of his manuscripts, articles, speeches, reports, and extensive correspondence with individuals and organizations throughout Europe. Lavoslav Schick was a prominent Zagreb lawyer, killed in the Jasenovac concentration camp. He was a Zionist, but of the kind who did not wish to actually leave for Palestine themselves, and a well-known public figure in Zagreb’s inter-war period. Zagreb’s Jewish history cannot be told without talking or examining of his work.

    Selected materials from the records of the Gesundheitskammer, an organization established by the German occupation authorities to govern the administration of health services in occupied Poland. The records include hundreds of personal files: questionnaires of Jewish health professionals "Questionnaire for the first submission of medical professions" ("Fragebogen erstmaligen zur Meldung der Heilberufe"). The questionnaires contain personal details, information about family, education, work history, and a photograph.
