    Collection of 5 silver items consisting of 1 silver powder box and 4 silver cake forks retrieved in the former Warsaw Ghetto by donor's husband immediately following WWII.

  3. Steven Vogel collection

    The collection consists of a cotton shirt and a leather belt worn by Steven Vogel as he exited Mauthausen concentration camp upon liberation in April 1945. Steven Vogel took the shirt and belt from an SS storeroom housing clothing and supplies at the camp. Letter: handwritten by Tomi Baratod [sic] in Budapest addressed to "Pistka" [sic], dated December 14, 1946. Letter describes events in Auschwitz concentration camp in Poland after Steven was evacuated from there to Mauthausen concentration camp in Austria.   4. Jeanne Bowen collection

    The collection consists of four prints from Arthur Szyk's holiday portfolio and include "Simchat Torah," "Chanukah," "Rosh Hashanah," and "Passover."

  5. Patrick D. Gleason collection

    Consists of badges, ballots, broadsides, and posters relating to the 1933 elections in Germany. Also includes a ballot for the Austrian Anschluss plebescite.

  6. Jaworski family collection

    Consists of photographs of the Jaworski family, including of Maria Teicher, the donor's mother, in the Polish and Soviet Armies, 1942 - 1946; in the Szczebrzesyn ghetto in 1941; and after the war in Sopot and Lublin, Poland. Al;so includes a six-pointed yellow star patch, with "Jood" printed in the center in in black ink; on the verso is a Nazi emblem of an eagle with extended wings holding a wreath, printed in black ink.

  7. Klaus Barbie trial evidence removal tag collection

    The collection consists of tags that were placed on boxes containing documents from the trial of Klaus Barbie. The tags indicate sealed doucuments were moved from the municipal library to the court, then after the trial to the Lyon local Archives.

    The collection consists of a suitcase, tallit, and publications relating to the experiences of Paul Hartstein during the Holocaust when he was imprisoned in several concentration camps.

    The collection consists of a miniature Torah scroll, a prayer book, and an album of sketches by Alfred Kantor relating to the experiences of Julius Rabl, the donor's husband, before and during the Holocaust

    The collection consists of a wool hat, scarf, and bloomers worn by Ernst Baer donor's father while in hiding in the Netherlands during the Holocaust

  11. Faliero Lucaccini collection

    The collection consists of a film projector with case, transformer and 11 film strips used by the Hitler Youth found by Faliero Lucaccini in a school house in Germany while he was serving in the US Army.

  12. Benny Guinossar collection

    Consists of one metal and plastic watch belonging to the donor's brother, Alfred Ginzburg; 30 photographs of the donor in hiding, in Hachshara training, and in Hamburg, Germany; and documents received in Port de Bouc, France.

    Contains twenty-four family photographs, one negative, five copyprints, a commemorative pin from Ebensee, pin from Jewish brigade, and a metal stick pick of NSDAP. The papers also include photocopies of articles pertaining to the donor's history with Maccabi, one brochure from Dachau, Certificat from ORT, KZ bill from Auschwitz, six pages from a manuscript written in Zilnia, Slovakia, (1942-1943), a protective certificate from the Hungarian army, and one letter (1938) from sports teacher

  16. Erwin Bensdorf collection

    Brown leather-like pencil case with 3 graphite pencils, 2 fountain pens, 4 colored pencils and 1 eraser recieved by Erwin Bensdorf in Germany before he emigrated to England in 1939 and used in England. One photogragh album compiled by Max Haybrook, who assisted children from Nazi-occuped Europe through the Kindertransport (4 loose photos inside), 3 photographs (one framed), one document with compilation of notes written in gratitude from KT to Max Haybrook and one typed report compiled by Haybrook concerning events surrounding arrival and care of refugee children in England.

  17. Gaston Schmir collection

    The collection consists of two children's books, "Mon Petit Trott" and "Contes et Légendes Du Grand Siècle," taken by Gaston Schmir from a school library in Brive-la-Gaillarde, France, in Apr. 1943. Gaston Schmir left the books in Haute-Savoie, France, before crossing into Switzerland, and he returned and recovered them after World War II.

    Consists of artifacts and documents relating to Augusta Feldhorn's childhood in Vienna, Austria; later as a hidden child in the convent Les Soeurs du St. Coeur de Marie, Malaise-La Hulpe, Belgium; and after emigrating to the United States in 1949.
