    The collection consists of artifacts, documents, original photographs, and photographic negatives relating to the experiences of Eddie Mills Murphy, during and after World War II, when he served as a soldier in the United States Army, 3264th Signal Photo Battalion, and was assigned as a photographer at the International Military Tribunal, Nuremberg War Crimes trials from 1945-1946.

  11. Kaiser Wilhelm Institute lantern slide collection

    The collection of lantern slides and boxes is from the holdings of the former Kaiser Wilhelm Institute in Berlin. This Institute for anthropology and genetics was one of many centers used for the study of eugenics during the Third Reich. Aside from ordering sterilization and other eugenic "procedures," medical experiments originating in euthenasia killing centers and concentration camps were also evaluated at the Institute.   12. Lester D. Edelstein collection

    Consists of an original photocopy of a letter writen by a soldier in the 11th Armored division regarding the liberation of the Mauthausen concentration camp. The soldier, whose name is unknown, described what they witnessed when they entered the camp and what they learned from prisoners with whom they spoke. Also includes a speech, on audio CD, with Lester D. Edelstein, who was a captain in the 11th Armored Division (63rd Armored Infantry Battalion), in which he describes his memories of Mauthausen, including how the camp smelled and his impressions of how people managed to survive.

  13. Denker and Kleiner family collection

    The collection consists of a doctor's bag relating to the experiences of Josef Kleiner before and during the Holocaust in Poland which he, his wife Jocheved, and their son Adolf (later Al) survived by living in hiding and also photographs relating to the experiences of the Denker and Kleiner families in Budzanoff, Poland, before and after the war.

    The collection consists of two pieces of Łódź ghetto scrip, documents, and a photograph relating to the experiences of Wanda Lomazow during the Holocaust when she lived under a false identity and after the Holocaust when she worked for United Nations Relief and Rehabilitation Administration (UNRRA) in Wels and Badgstein displaced persons camps, married Jacob Lomazow, and emigrated to the United States.

  18. Albert and Olga Friedmann family collection

    Consists of documents related to the life of Albert Friedmann, his wife Olga, son Tibor, and stepdaughter, Eva (born Weiss). Albert and Olga married in 1946; both had lost their spouses in the Holocaust. The documents mainly concern the Friedmanns' lives in the Hallein displaced persons camp and Mr. Friedmann's position within the camp.   19. Haim family collection

    Consists of 8mm film, photographic negatives, a wedding certificate and documents related to forced labor. The collection concerns the prewar and wartime experiences of Max Licco Haim and family in Bulgaria.

  20. Julius Wald and Ernst Breuer families collection

    The collection consists of an identification tag, an autograph album, correspondence, documents, and photographs relating to the experiences of Julius Wald and Ernest Breuer and their families, originally from Vienna, Austria, during the Holocaust when Julius was sent to Great Britain on a Kinderstransport and Ernst emigrated to the United States, and then later returned to Europe as a soldier with the the US Army.
