    Collection contains an excerpt from the donor's diary describing her underground schoolwork in the Warsaw ghetto from 1940 to her Gestapo arrest in May 1943. After being beaten in the Warsaw prison, Gorzędowska was sent to Auschwitz until January 1945. On January 17, 1945, she and others were led on a four-day march to an unnamed train depot, packed into boxcars, and taken to Ravensbrück; she arrived on January 25, 1945. Counter-propaganda film made to mock the Nazis by reversing and repeating newsreel shots of Adolf Hitler saluting and his troops goose-stepping from "Triumph of the Will" to create the illusion that Hitler and his gang were dancing to the popular British tune of the day, The Lambeth Walk. Uses reverse, stop motion, and jump cuts. Footage reproduced in rhythmic sequnces by an optical printer. Adds appropriate slide whistle and Bronx cheer sound effects.

    United States Certificate of Naturalization document holder. The certificate was issued to Wesley Cosimer Zineski in 1953. The holder is part of a collection documenting the experiences of the Zyzniewski family before, during and after WWII. The Zyzniewskis were a Catholic family from Łódź who were active in the resistance. Wieslaw Zyzniewski (later Wesley Zineski) and his mother Janina were arrested by the Gestapo in February 1942 for their political activities and first sent to Radgoszcz.
