The topic is the infiltration of Austrian society and police by Nazi agents and agents provocateurs prior to the "Anschluss". Similar techniques were used during the occupation of Czechoslovakia.     The pamphlet is the last writing of Prof. Dr. Titus Brandsma by “Order of the Gestapo” in the Scheveningen prison on January 22nd, 1942. Brandsma was an outspoken critic of the Nazis even before the war. He was imprisoned in Dachau and executed by lethal injection. In 2002 Brandsma was canonized by Pope Francis.

Kurt Singer, intendand and leader of the Kulturbund Berlin, infroms Hans Hinkel, Reich Ministry for the People's Enlightenment and Propaganda, that the establishment of a branch in Kassel is planed. Forthermore a request to approve a list of chairmen of the Kassel branch is attached. Hinkel forwarded the List to Karl Haselbacher, Gestapo officer, for further investigation. Nothing negative about the chairmen could be investigated by the Gestapo. Therefore the chairmen as well as the Kulturbund Kassel could start their work.
