  1. Kongregacja Wyznania Mojżeszowego Kraków collection

    The collection consists of two damaged stained glass windows likely from Tempel Synagogue in Krakow, Poland, which was desecrated by German occupation forces during World War II.

    The collection consists of a nameplate and correspondence relating to the experiences of Adolf and Bettina Liebermann, who fled from Vienna to Prague in 1939, and their children, Hedi and Hans, who emigrated to Great Britain in 1938 and 1939.

  8. Hiram and Rose Bingham collection

    The Hiram and Rose Bingham collection consists of correspondence, photographic materials, and printed materials documenting Hiram Bingham's efforts to assist refugees while serving as Vice Consul at the American Consulate in Marseilles. Among the papers are photographs of lines of refugees at the American Consulate in Marseilles, the concentration camp at Gurs, and Marc Chagall, and a letter from Varian Fry. The collection also includes 8mm motion picture film.

  9. Rolf Wartenberg collection

    Collection that includes eighteen drawings on a total of 10 sheets in a folder of defendants and judges at the Nuremberg trials. Drawn at the trial by artist Peis in pencil and traced over with ink. In addition, the collection includes a report and entrance passes related to the Nuremberg trials.

  10. Virginia Longest collection

    Consists of 38 photographs of the Buchenwald concentration camp soon after liberation, ruins of Hitler's Berchtesgaden home, the Hotel Florida in Bad Wiessee, and other postwar images. The photos were taken with a Kodak Instamatic camera by Virginia Longest (donor), a nurse in General Patton's army, and developed in an Xray laboratory. The collection also includes a bayonet and sheath from the Hitlerjugend (Hitler Youth), as well as a dagger, that the donor acquired in 1945 in Germany. Some of these materials may be combined into a single collection in the future.

  12. Nazi Storm Trooper collection

    Collection including items worn by storm troopers: brown shirt, shirt pins, hat, necktie and necktie pin, belts and boots. The collection also includes a WWI wound badge.

  13. Severin Wunderman family collection

    The collection consists of three watercolors created by Oscar Liedel, and a book titled "La Guerre et L'Occupation Vues."

  14. Jack and Sonia Rubin collection

    Consists primarily of 24 photographs. Many have inscriptions in Yiddish, and include many pre-war images of Jack Rubin's family from Bransk, Poland. The donor, Jack Rubin, immigrated to the United States under the sponsorship of his Uncle, Arthur J. Sussel.; Mr. Sussel appears in some photographs while visiting relatives in Bransk before the war. The collection also includes Torah scroll fragments.
