    The collection consists of scrip, correspondences, diaries, copy prints, sheet music, and publications relating to the experiences of Waclaw Glouszek during the Holocaust, when he was interened as a non-Jewish political prisoner in several concentration camps and after the Holocaust when he lived in displaced persons camps.

  7. March of Time -- outtakes -- Dr. Abba Silver speaks for the United Palestine Appeal

    Several takes of Dr. Abba Hillel Silver, National Chairman of the United Palestine Appeal giving a fundraising speech. The United Palestine Appeal was attempting to raise $4,500,000 to aid in the resettling of European Jews in Palestine. Dr. Silver speaks from a podium in a simple interior setting about the new hope offered by Palestine and the progress already made, including the establishment of settlements and the building of a port at Tel Aviv.

  9. Winter family collection

    Documents, correspondence, photographs, and certificate illustrating the experiences of Marianne Winter, a refugee from Nazi occupied Austria, who fled with her parents Max and Anna and her brother Stephan. Included are letters to Jane Bomberger in Reading, PA who was Marianne's pen pal since 1935 and whose parents assisted the Winters in immigrating to the United States. Also included are pre-war images of Winter's family, report cards for Marianne, materials documenting Marianne's participation in competitive swimming for Hakoach.

    The collection consists of an issue of Liberty magazine (January 18, 1941), of Life magazine (June 26, 1944) and Popular Mechanics magazine (March 1942).
