Leslie Hore-Belisha, the Secretary of War, is one of those shown. People protest with signs reading "Churchill." Police attempt to control crowds of people. Placards advertising The Evening Standard newspaper tell of the crisis: one placard reads, "Americans told to leave Britain" and another "Britons told to leave Germany."
