Search an exact match of your query, e.g. "Member lists"

Given word has to be in the result, e.g. +Gestapo
-Phrase
Exclude given word from search, e.g. -Gestapo

Use the following syntax to restrict the search to specific fields:

field:"phrase"
For instance, you can find all descriptions that have the phrase "Auschwitz Birkenau" in their titles by searching for title:"Auschwitz Birkenau".

    Certified copy of an indictment of a forester, Josef Reheis from Brannenburg, Bavaria the Oberlandesgericht, Munich. This is an example of the prosecution of an ordinary German citizen for uttering ‘unpatriotic' sentiments about the war. Having admitted to two strangers that he regularly listened to foreign radio stations for reliable news about the progress of the war and that he felt Germany was sure to lose, he was denounced by them, and sentenced to two years imprisonment.

  6. Copy article re Walther Rathenau

    Typescript translation of a newspaper article by an unidentified former member of the French Foreign Legion. The adjutant of the camp on the Libyan border was Tessier, someone who showed particular kindness to the Jewish legionnaires. When a new legionnaire by the name of Rathenau arrived, Tessier confessed that he was one of the murderers of Walther Rathenau, the former's uncle, and he produced a letter which Rathenau's mother had written to Tessier's mother after her son was killed. The author of the report met Tessier again in Marseille, where he helped many refugees escape.German 3 pages
