    The Albert Rosenberg papers is comprised of materials collected by Albert Rosenberg of the United States Army Psychological Warfare Division during his deployment to Europe during World War II. The bulk of this collection is comprised of the original Buchenwald Report typescript prepared by Albert, his Intelligence team, and Eugen Kogen in May 1945, along with numerous testimonies and statements contributed by former prisoners.   3. Memoir of Dr. Blanca Rosenberg

    Testimony, typescript, in chapters, circa 150 pages. Recounts experiences in either Eastern Poland or western Soviet Union (Kolomija) from time of German invasion, through deportation to ghettos in Lwow and Warsaw, and time as forced laborer in Heidelberg.

    Mimeographed names list, compiled circa late 1940s, with report by Erich Simon from 1948, writing about Theresienstadt. Addressed to members of "F.W.Ver." Also contains a couple of documents relating to Kurt and Hauptman of Jackson Heights, NY.

  5. Morris and Hanna Stark papers

    Contains photocopies of letters, photographs, and documents, related primarily to Morris Stark's post-war experiences in a Displaced Persons camp, and later correspondence regarding restitution process.

  6. Photographs of Dachau and other World War II scenes

    Photographs, in album, taken by German émigré working with U.S. Army, in Bavaria, 1945. Shows towns (Mittenwald), and camp at Dachau, with liberated prisoners, and dead SS officers. Album appears to be compiled by someone other than Sieburth since it gives information about him in a caption label at end.

  7. Addison Moll collection

    Contains numerous photographs accompanied by a mimeographed text titled "Photos of the Signal Corps, Story of the 166th" (approximately 32 pages). The photos depict events in France, Luxembourg, and western Germany, many with captions on verso.

    Letter and related documents, sent from Gruber in 1995, with a letter challenging the work of two American historians (labeled as revisionists) on Antonescu. Charles Gruber (donor) was a personal secretary to W. Filderman, president of the Federation of Jewish Communities from Romania.

    Testimony, 6 pages, photocopy of typescript, recounting experiences of Dan Daugherty, an American soldier, at liberation of Dachau.

  10. Testimony relating to the execution of Jews

    Testimony, in form of one handwritten fragmentary letter, dated 1995, from a man who said he had just shared a hospital room with someone who would be a "first class witness for your Holo-Institute." He recounts the experiences of the man, Hermann Knoch, who served in the army on the Eastern Front and was witness to mass shootings of Jewish civilians.

    Testimony, 7 pages, typescript, titled "An Account of the Holocaust," by Sam Seif (Shlomo Zaif). Account of author's family during German invasion of Poland (they lived in Kalisz), transport to ghetto at Rzeszow, then at Płaszów camp, then as forced laborer in or near Czestochowa. Account appears to have been written by one of Seif's children.

  14. A memoir and documents relating to Holocaust experiences

    Testimony, plus documents, photocopied, in Russian, with some English translation and an inventory, about the author's experience during the German occupation of Kiev, including an eyewitness account of mass killing at Babi Yar.

  17. Ralph Parker testimony

    The collection includes a one-page testimony by Ralph R. Parker describing his experiences as a forced laborer, deportation to Auschwitz III (Buna-Monowitz) in 1943, forced march to Gleiwitz and Sachsenhausen, and liberation near Schwerin. Also included is a photocopy of a report given by Rolf Pakuscher (Ralph Parker) for a court case in Hamburg in 1946, describing conditions at Auschwitz.

  19. A memoir relating to experiences in Vienna and France

    Testimony, 11 pages, handwritten, about experiences of Arthur Kern (born Oswald Kernberg), originally of Vienna. Describes Anschluss, separation from parents when he was sent on a kindertransport to France in 1939, occupation of France, time in orphanages administered by O.S.E., fate of parents (tried to get out, eventually deported to camps and killed), transport to U.S. in 1941, life in New York.
