    Received by Eva Ungar Grudin from American Jewish Charity (probably HIAS). The leather jacket was made in the United States by Native Americans and worn by Eva in Shanghai, China.

    Collection of documents, photographs, drawings, writings, newspaper clippings relating to Klara and Michal Mirski (donor's grandparents). Klara Mirski was born in 1901 as Chaja Fichman and grew up in Warsaw; she was a teacher. Michal was born in 1905 in Kowel as Mosze Tabacznik; he was a teacher and principal in Jewish schools before the war. Due to his Communist activity, he was incarcerated in Bereza Kartuska concentration camp. Michal and Klara married on June 4, 1926 in Skidel. Their daughter Maja was born in 1927.   14. Danielle Salley papers

    The papers consist of a map of southern France, a photocopy of the "Etat-Major" map showing the route used by refugees to flee into Spain, newspaper clippings, a postcard of a painting ("La Defense du Col de Banyuls") showing typical "Banyulese" costume, a circulation permit dated 1939 allowing an individual to work, and a declaration of the wine production of M. Ferrer Sauveur's grape harvest.

  15. Selected records of the Grand Loge de France

    Consists of personnel card files for the Free Masons of the Grand Loge de France. Each card contains the member's name along with brief biographical and residence information. Also contains documents pertaining to the expropriation of property belonging to the Masons and files related to the post-war purging of members who collaborated with Nazi or Vichy officials.

    Contains information about Thomas Ballinger's involvement in arranging for exhibit of childrens art from Terezin with the State Jewish Museum in Prague at the University of Oregon and various other institutions in the United States in 1969 and 1970.
