Carroll summarises the conversation between Maglione and Taylor about the future of Europe and international relations after the war. Taylor affirms that there is a global agreement, both in Europe and in the USA, that the Pope should blame again inhuman treatments against refugees, hostages and especially Jews in occupied territories.
