Archival History

The armband was donated to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in 1997 by Gary Deutsch, the son of Ernest Deutsch.

Scope and Content

Armband acquired by Ernst Deutsch at the Dachau concentration camp immediately following its liberation in 1945. The armband is of the design issued to members of the Hitler Youth.
