The blanket was donated to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in 1994 by Irena Veisaite, a friend of Sara Oleisky.

Scope and Content

This blanket was used by Sara Oleiski while an inhabitant in the Kovno Ghetto. Later she carried it with her into hiding, and finally, after her capture, to a Russian prison.
