Physical Characteristics and Technical Requirements
Rectangular white currency note with the face printed with blue, black and red ink. There is a blue border which includes a repeat of an eagle and a globe with "ALLIED MILITARY CURRENCY" across the top. The front has "1" printed in black ink in each corner with "SERIES 1943" printed on the inside of the top left and bottom right numeral. The center reads "ISSUED IN/ ITALY/ 1/ LIRA in black ink. Below in red ink reads "A27823387A.' The back is printed in blue ink and has the insignia for the Allied Military Currency. There are illegible markings in black ink and the note is water damaged.
