serial number 134859. On one side of the note is a menorah, the Star of David, and "Quittung ueber 50 Pfennig; Der. Aelteste der Juden in litzmannstadt." On the reverse is printed: "Quittung ueber Fuenfzig Pfennig; Wer diese Quittung verfaelscht oder nachmacht oder gefaelschte Quittungen in verkehr bringt / wird strengstens bestraft." It is signed by the Elder of the Jews in Litzmannstadt.
