Acquisition

Forms part of the Claims Conference International Holocaust Documentation Archive at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. This archive consists of documentation whose reproduction and/or acquisition was made possible with funding from the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany.

Source of acquisition is the Archiwum Państwowe w Częstochowie, Poland, Sygn. 151. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum received the filmed collection via the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum International Archival Programs Division in 2014.

Scope and Content

This collection contains records relating to the operation of the Factory of Paper and Mill in Częstochowa. Included are financial documents, a register of employees over 18 years, reports of work accidents to the Social Insurance, and lists of employees’ payroll. These records provide information on the economic life and work at industrial facilities in the inter-war period in Poland.

The system of arrangement of the source repository has been preserved in digital images. Arranged in two series series: 1. Register of factory employees; 2. Records relating to employees salaries, and their accidents in workplace.
