Physical Characteristics and Technical Requirements
Round, metal stamp fitted within a metal base with a long, turned wooden handle. The handle has a domed finial with a rounded top and flat underside. The body of the handle extends down from the top and flares out to a narrow ring, and then widens outward into a bulbous center before narrowing into two rings near the base. Anchored to the base is a flat silver-colored housing that holds the stamp. The surface of the stamp is black, while the raised edge and embossed text are copper-colored. The wood is blackened with age and has small chips in the domed finial.
