Acquisition

Source of acquisition is the Hashomer Hatzair Archives, Yad Yaari, Israel, Record Group 95-70. The reproduction was completed as a joint project with Yad Vashem. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the collection from the Hashomer Hatzair Archives Yad Yaari, Israel, via the United States Holocaust Museum International Archives Project in 2014.

Scope and Content

Personal archives of Izhak Patish (1914-2002) contains letters, articles, poetry, extracts from the diary of Ronya Margalit-Git (sister Masha) in Yiddish, songs in Yiddish, papers on Czechoslovakia Jewry, records and correspondence from his mission as an Israeli ambassador in Austria.
