Acquisition

Forms part of the Claims Conference International Holocaust Documentation Archive at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. This archive consists of documentation whose reproduction and/or acquisition was made possible with funding from the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany.

Source of acquisition is the Archiwum Państwowe w Warszawie Oddział w Grodzisku Mazowieckim, Poland, Sygn.1105. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum received the filmed collection via the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum International Archival Programs Division in 2014.

Scope and Content

The collection contains vital records of the commune Regnów, County of Rawa Mazowiecka. Includes reports, police announcements and orders regulating registration of people who had migrated to that region, name lists of firemen, correspondence relating to military cemeteries, and government support of Jewish families after World War II.

System of Arrangement

The system of arrangement of the source repository has been preserved in digital images. Arranged in four series: 1. Vital records of Jews (El family), 1888-1930; 2. Vital records of migrated Jews, 1929; 3. Records of fire station, 1943; 4. Correspondence and orders, 1945-1946.
