Acquisition

Forms part of the Claims Conference International Holocaust Documentation Archive at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. This archive consists of documentation whose reproduction and/or acquisition was made possible with funding from the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany.

Source of acquisition is the Archiwum Państwowe w Warszawie Oddział w Grodzisku Mazowieckim, Poland (Sygn.1107, Folder 30). The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum received the filmed collection via the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum International Archival Programs Division in 2014.

Scope and Content

The collection contains vital records of the region of Biała Rawska, name lists of fireman in various communes, correspondence, reports, police announcements and orders regulating contacts with Jewish people, and medical orders for Jews and Roma to delouse them for prevention of infectious diseases.

System of Arrangement

The system of arrangement of the source repository has been preserved in digital images. Arranged in one series. Series 1: File # 30, Administrative Department. Public order and safety. Records are selected from the particular administrative records books (designated by a letter "K" and a number, it stands in Polish for "księga"; designation appears only in the finding aid not in the digital files). Personal names within records arranged chronologically.
