Circular form constructed of metal; recto, at center is image of crown resting on shield surrounded by branches; verso, at center is raised image of helmut with "PRO DEO ET PATRIA" above and "1914-1918" below; metal ring attached at top of cirular form with triangular red, white, and green strip ribbon.
