Donated to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in 2022 by Eileen Perman Baker.

Scope and Content

Comprised of naturalization records, falsified birth certificates, family photographs, and restitution-related papers capturing the experiences of the Perman family before, during, and after the war, especially following their escape from Poland to Siberia and then Central Asia after being forced into the Bialystok and Warsaw ghettos. Also included are records related to the family's time in the Hofgeismar DP Camp, where the donor, Eileen Baker (nee Chaja Ita Perman), was born to Fiszel and Malka (Fajerman) Perman in 1947.
