This document was given to Deborah Lipstadt by a relative of Ludwig May in Los Angeles, in the early 1990s. Donated by Dr. Lipstadt to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in 2022.

Scope and Content

Includes the Deutsches Reich Reisepass, or passport, of Dr. Ludwig May (1903-1973), who was a passenger aboard the MS St. Louis after his 1938 internment at Buchenwald.
