Acquisition

The documents were issued to Dr. Annemarie Bieber and were received by her daughter, Hanna Bieber Parker, after her death in 1957. Hanna Bieber Parker donated the collection to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in 1996. Created by unknown photographer, 1935, Ornin, USSR.

Scope and Content

The papers consist of original and vintage photocopies of documents relating to Dr. Annemarie Bieber [donor's mother] and the emigration of her and her children from Germany in 1940. Most of the documents are inventories of Dr. Bieber's possessions.
