United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Collection, Gift of Dina Ofman

Dina Ofman donated the collection to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in 1999.

Scope and Content

Consists of two black and white photographic prints: 1) of two women posing on grass, one wears a white armband bearing the Star of David, word “Stopnica” printed on right side, Dina Grossberg [donor] and sister Fela, dated 1942 ,verso, Stopnica, Poland; and 2) copy photograph, wedding portrait of a couple in their nuptial clothing, Star of David patch bearing words “Jood” sewn to their chests, man’s Star sewn upside down, identified verso as Avraham Haim Grossberg [donor’s brother] and his wife Hava, dated 1942, Den Haag, The Netherlands.
