Donated to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in 2011 by Malka L. Pattison.

Scope and Content

Contains photographs of the Fajner and Kalmanowicz families in Łódź before the war. Inlcudes images of the Kalmanowicz family with son Mordechai Joel Max, born in 1946, and friends in the Bergen-Belsen and Bad Reichenhal DP camps; Kalmanowicz family in Scranton, PA with their youngest daughter, Malka. Also includes a pass issued to Natan Kalmanowicz on June 4, 1945 permitting him to travel from Goerlitz to Łódź; in Polish and Russian; letters written by Natan to Hana in 1945-1946 in Polish and Yiddish; and memoirs written in English, dated 1970s.
