Scope and Content

Collection of copy prints and copy negatives of black and white images which depict images of survivors and victims after liberation (primarily in Woebbelin concentration camp), reburial of victims, general post-WWII imagery (destruction, abandoned property, signs) and Nazi officials after their death either by hanging or suicide at Nuremberg prison. Original images primarily taken by the US Army Signal Corps and gathered by Leonard Linton (donors' father) who was part of the US G5 military unit after the war and cared for survivors of the Woebbelin concentration camp.
